Years ago, I had a quarter course on Propaganda. Most interesting! We compared on a daily basis, the front pages of each of 10 leading national newspapers in class (i.e. NYT,WSJ,CT,WP, etc, and had to be prepared to speak about the main event/headline of the day. We examined EACH page and ALL articles for slant and bias. Consistently, the Christian Science Monitor was the paper that most often achieved the goal of being the least biased.

It is a course that I believe should be taught in every secondary school today. When one compares each of the majors every day, and on the same subject, some things become crystal clear.
