The truth is that since 1 January, AMD's stock price has performed considerably better than INTC's:

Jan 1 Intel : 31.45, Today : 18.89 => Down 39.9%
Jan 1 AMD : 16.39, Today : 8.15 => Down 50.2%

Since when is -50.2% better than -39.9%?
