cde reports on 8/8.The news out is they want to double the outstanding from 125m to 250 m.The first reaction is if they double the shares then the stock should go down? I think they plan to use the additional shares to pay down debt,so it may be a good idea. Short interest is around 20% of float. I think the rise to 2.50 last week was result of covering,so the interest is probably alot less.If it breaks 2.5 again and holds its a sure bet to 5$ The sell off friday a combination of xau weakness and prior knowledge of the float increase. Im looking for alot of movement prior to earnings. If precious metal prices had not increased over the last year they probably would have been bankrupt by now. CDE is a speculative play. I like trading it but I dont want to encourage anyone to bet the farm on it. I trade it much more often than I post and take profits of pennies.I dont post all the trades because it would just boor most and Im sure everyone gets tired of seeing jtech after jtech post.
