As You Point Out The Implications Of Your Count Are Quite Dire

What would you think of the up from 7/24 being corrective A, which either concluded or almost concluded today, after 5 waves down which began 5/20 and concluded with the 7/24 low.

This would have us starting B down (perhaps to 8241)to be followed by C up to 9295 (61.8% retrace of the move down).

In which case the dire stuff would then be part of the 5 wave down which commenced at that point, and probably ends with a test of the October 1997 low, of if you want to be Bearish, perhaps the April 1997 low.
