I don't much care how he uses it, unless he would show us *exactly* how so we could backtest it. I was referring to the study I mentioned.

Excessive high TICKs marked the EXACT top in January. Of course that looked like a top (but he was calling for more up at the time if I recall properly). Of course this is a "low" but is it? It is at the possible end of a huge 1000 point move in 4 days as opposed to the beginning of the move up. Was this "short capitulation" or the sign of more up?

Shack, you are correct about Zeev's view of positive ticks after a low. He believes they signify a change in trend. They certainly did in September, and I believe they have other times. I went and checked out iHub to see what Zeev was really saying. . . and while he is talking about a possible rally to 1800 Naz (over 6 or even 9 months), he also calls it far from a sure thing AND is expecting a pullback now, probably a 'scary' looking one. Clearly, if it morphs into something more, we'll all be aware of it, Zeev included.

As Allan has said many times before, it's not a great idea to comment on other people's work here if 1) they don't post here and 2) the person commenting on said poster doesn't post their complete comments.

just my take,
