Lorne: Well, it works both ways as you infer. Muslims or Moslems over here who have come in illegally or with proven bad intentions should be summarily deported. We have every right to protect ourselves from predators - those after our pocket books as well as our lives. But how can that be accomplished with bleeding heart liberals and the ACLU forever lurking and ready to scream, "FOUL." Foreigners who come here to stay and live under our Flag should respect our traditions and our laws. That is becoming impossible in some places in California I admit. Last week while conducting my business in an Asian area community I had an immigrant merchant ask me what country I was from. I don't fault him for that question innocent enough but it is significant of our times. However, since I was born here and a member of the armed forces in both WW2 and Korea, it was a bit off the wall for me. The enemy within wears many hats and is more threatening than the enemies perceived without. But I cannot run about my homeland worrying about who is going to damage me and mine. That is one of things Government was founded to do "to protect us against foreign invasion", but can they do it? Congressman Gebhart has suggested that aliens be allowed to vote I hear recently. Personally, I don't care what the powers what be do in the countries they rule (like the Clerics mentioned), but I do care what they or their followers do over here. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Angler
