lbs1989,

...I am in gold and silver because it is the only real store of value and medium of exchange. ...

But even if true, their value will always come down to having someone in the future willing to exchange consumption or other desired goods for them. You will always be hostage to that willingness. Canned goods could well hold their value better. Preserving wealth is extraordinarily difficult.

Regards, Don

Hello, lbs1898...I was referring to a poster named retired, not saying that you were retired. And I was speaking to the 29 non-performers either you and/or he were lamenting earlier after BAY PAAS'd GAAS and you wanted another stock pick from the P&D'er himself.

Interesting response, 1989.

RE: when my boat is loaded, I'll probably wait 6 months minimally after my buying window closes before revealing the stock...unless of course, the surging herd discovers it and I get to sell into their whimsical strength. Then I'll be able to buy it back on their pinball surge to another play.

And speaking of interesting responses, don't you find it just plumb fascinating ole Marco's can't stand me and TEEVEE sharing the same low opinion of BAY.TO???

BTW, I don't believe I mentioned "Jim"...maybe I should have...I believe I contained myself to M, C and E.
Geeze, this sounds like Wheel of Fortune Final round....okay...I'll take one more consonant: J <snicker>
