Maybe Bob Herbert's column will call enough attention to it that it will start showing up on the magazine shows. This sort of thing happens, but not always to such a large number of people that it gets attention, and there isn't always such clear evidence that the one witness was a liar.

It's one reason I oppose the death penalty. The system is too vulnerable to abuse.

Are you watching Crime and Punishment? Described as the "real life Law and Order"? It's in my tape-it category.

This is now what I watch on TV, or have watched recently:

Crime and Punishment
Big Brother 3
American Idol
[Houston Medical until it ended.]
[NYPD Blue when it comes back on.]
[Bachelorettes In Alaska until it ended and the Bachelor one before it ended.]

Go ahead and laugh, do I care?!

A quick search reveals this to be big and on-going news among the drug law crowd. Reno's Justice Dept investigated it for civil rights violations. And Bush's is continuing to investigate. It has been profiled in most of the national media outlets. It's old news. That's why there's more news about last week's child abduction and murder.
