Louis, for me I decided long ago to partition a portion of my portfolio as "untouchable" -- fwiw it's variable... usually a minimum of 50% to a maximum 100% -- I'm presently 30% cash - 70% precious metals. I always buy a quiet market and sell into a busy one and not the other way around. Regards, Frank P.

Hi Louis, Don't feel too bad. I stopped out of ELD and CDE. Aaaaargh !!! Fortunately I held all my other juniours. Unfortunately they don't participate the same way as ELD and CDE :o( In very unSliderlike fashion I've given back a good portion of gains in my retirement account. Fortunately I cashed out my non registered account in timely fashion and blew all the dough on creature comforts and home renovations :o) Kastel
