If he broke any laws re his deferment status, then why wasn't he called up? He wasn't the 'fortunate son' of a famous politician... it's unlikely that he could have had powerful friends pulling strings for him like Dubbya. There were plenty of famous people on that 'chickenhawk' list who had unbelievable deferments... I particularly like Rush's excuse. So, why did Bill Clinton's "draft dodging" merit 13,641 major news stories, while GW Bush's AWOL merit only 49?
