I don't believe that CLinton pulled any strings.............he wasn't well connected at that juncture of his life. He at least stood up for what he believed in and vocally denounced the war. No one pulled any strings for him as he was the son of a nurse. He went to college and got a college deferment...............many others did the same as you can see from the chickenhawk database. At least CLinton didn't pretend to be a hawk. His Daddy didn't pull strings to keep him out of harms way.
Too bad all the people that can talk about Dubya's AWOL stint are dead.

I am still wondering why no one has come forth who was with Dubya in the guard!!!! LOL
