is Naftali another one of Huntington's students? nope, he's a diplomatic historian, not a political scientist, so although he did do his graduate work at Harvard, he worked with Ernest May rather than Huntington. Of course, he had a fellowship for a time at Huntington's institutional home base, the Olin Institute for Strategic Studies, so there is indeed some connection... <g> Sophisticated conspiracy theorists might find it worth a look: wcfia.harvard.edu as for Newhouse, he would indeed be considered "a member of the FA community," but of the older generation that some might feel should be making its way toward the exits. tb@newblood.com
