With statements like this: "We are optimistic about the recovery," Mr. Kispert added. followed by this: He predicted "flat bookings" in the September quarter and said there is " limited visibility" for the December quarter, but he said he expects growth in 2003 and 2004. I have put KLAC management in the "not believable" category. How can they be optimistic about a recovery for which they have limited visibility, except for flat bookings? KLAC's stock deserves to be sold tomorrow.
