Here we are back at short term resistance levels again:

If this were 2 weeks ago, CREE would have sold off hard. But with the strong revenue growth projections..
I would expect more buyers than sellers... At any rate tomorrow's open will be VERY interesting....

I had a chance to listen to the cc and will try to answer your q.

They have two new LED customers that will be ten percent customers in the first q that they ship.

The ramp in LED units will be steep. Next q units will be a record by a "wide margin."

Color screens on cellphones using a lot of LEDs. Most companies 2nd sourcing now as the demand is great.

80% of next quarters revenue already booked.

But LEDs strong all across the board.

The LED factory is at 100% utilization and they are hiring.

They have a dashlight win for an Asian car company.

They spoke about continuing to drive the prices down to create bigger markets and more uses for them.

One of the analysts that asked harder q's asked about any link between 3G cellphones and their LED sales...answer from CREE...the move to color screens is a market trend that is not dependent upon the rapid adoption of 3G.

CREE can deliver this sequential growth while being very conservative about Spectrian, and while working to build the 30 watt read/write laser diode,...

anyway I don't see why shorts would want to stick around here much longer as there must be better companies to short?

AMS..how many shares are short now?

WJ tell me what you think about the cc after you have had time to listen to it.
