One way of looking at the media bias issue is to notice how many people are saying the media doesn't represent them. Is it the function of the media to represent people? I would say not. I don't think the media are under any obligation to tell me what I want to hear. I am not sure what will emerge to replace or renew the left-right distinction but I think the terms are losing their relevance today. I agree. The prospect does not disturb me at all.
