Dell Computer to emulate the Gateway model?

For those of you who don't get Dell's catalogs, page 3 of the latest talks about their 21 "Dell Direct" stores.

So far, only in Texas, Florida, and North Carolina.

The thing is peppered with giveaway contests - Dell can't seem to make up its mind between the Gateway business model and the Publisher's Clearing House business model. If fits right in with the character and intelligence of their drug addled spokesperson.

Dan3, They are making advances on plasma deposited diamond films, not isotropic, but they can be istopic and there may be a place for diamond films in the future.
