BGR,

No I won't feel bad if your stock portfolio goes up. I will if mine goes down. You could use a break from the few down years you have had.

As to stocks going up with inflation, mild inflation would be good but runaway inflation will not be good for stocks and bonds except the inflation indexed ones. Hope Bush doesn't stir the ME oil wells.
