Chas: courage; love; acceptance I need those words now; my friend Sal went for a 3-month checkup following chemo & radiation. His cancer, supposedly in retreat, has metastasized into his brain. More radiation treatments - everyday for 2 weeks. One side of his body doesn't respond properly and he can only walk about 10' at a time, using a walker. I feel kind of helpless being almost 3000 miles away. I e-mail him and talk on the phone every other day or so, but it's not the same as being there. Chas :(
