Graham and Scott Thanks for the info. Agree with your comments. I haven't done any DB stuff for a long time but might have another look. For thread info regarding hotels, I just drove from west coast to central Canada, most of the "chain" style motels, lower cost hotels (as in Royal Host, InnVest etc) were doing a solid business. I believe they are taking significant long term market share from the mom and pop motel operations as travellers look for reliable, "no surprise" type accommodations. Best to all.
