I'm not ready to turn a deaf ear to Brinker. Clearly, he still has good advice to offer on general finances, market history, market perspective and yes, long-term timing. Plus, his views are in general agreement with my own.

But I think he's useless for short term trading advice. So he should give it up. Except he can't. He's still holding that boner trade on QQQ so he must deal with it. Bob shouldn't look like he's hiding from critics. Now that he's in the bum trade he has to deal with it. But, I don't think he knows what to do.

At the very least he owes us all an explanation of what led him to that disaster. I always like to take my losers and try to assess what went wrong so that I learn from it. Brinker should do the same in public so we can all learn. If he did come clean would it be like pulling the curtain back on the wizard only to see he's making a big noise just pulling a few levers on a simple machine?
