He inherited an exploded bubble...the damage is being assessed and remains are still being sifted through....The dems don't want it cleaned up because they can't take credit for it...so they stonewall in the interest of their political asses....it is a gamble, and we shall see the outcome soon.

Of course he talked it down when it suited him politically and now he's talking it up cause again it suits his politics to do so.

The GDP numbers are pathetic, and several quarters have been revised down.

Are we going to find out that their early gdp estimates are as bogus and politically spun as their budget projections? If so, what does that say about what this quarters 1.1% gdp will be eventually revised to? Negative? Is this the beginning of the second dip?
