Jeff,

good post and very interesting. personally i wonder
why some people cannot see the 'retrace' that you have
pinpointed so clearly....it is like psychologically
they do not want to believe the worst scenario that can
happen. i have a sister who gets on my case every time
we have a mini/maxi bear rally, saying get
your money out of puts you are going to lose everything....
i finally had to get mean and tell her to stop
hassling me or i was going to call her 'dumb' instead
of sister. dumb she is not but she certainly is
incapable of sorting it all out. she keeps saying
she cannot help being an optimist(g).

to extrapolate, if she were in charge of a fund with somebody's money, she would not be a crook, just sadly misinformed and anyone would be dumb to give her money to manage.

jeff, all good points...AND, why don't they show this little head and shoulders pattern on CNBC:

stockcharts.com[e,a]daclyyay[d19900101,20021231][pb50!b200][vc60][iUb14!La12,26,9!Lp14,3,3!Lc20]&pref=G

...also jeff, excuse my ignorance, but what is "t-q"?
