Well, yes that is true, but that sort of defeats the purpose of the plasma display. If it cannot do digital, why bother.

I was successful getting the Radeon Mac oem card that comes with a cube to work with the Fujitsu plasma. The best resolution that worked using the DVI interface was 1024 x 768 for this card. But the Rage 128 does not work.

VGA works of course with both cards at many resolutions including ones that exceed the native screen resolution of the plasma display. I'm probably going to get one of the newer powerbooks which use the Radeon 7500 mobile chip. But I would like to know if the DVI interface works for this display.
