Actually, Baxter knew almost everything about Enron (he was a Vice Chairman) who was questioning Fastow, Skilling and Lay...

I'm sure he knew about MANY of the firms corrupt practices and may have known about the Bush - Lay connection in a way that only reporters could dream about right now.

Of course its possible Skilling and Fastow very quietly hired professional killers to take care of Baxter (a crucial witness)...things may have been 'arranged carefully' so they might appear as if Baxter committed suicide. Notice that you didn't see Bush's FBI aggressively investigate the strange circumstances surrounding Baxter's death...it was all left up to the local authorities (who could have been paid off with money from offshore accounts). Don't take anything for granted with Enron.

I still believe there are Enron skeletons that Bush and Cheney never want to surface...stay tuned...if The Washington Post ever finds a 'new DeepThroat' things could get real interesting...=)
