I'd say it's 65% negative, 35% positive.

My take on it is this: all the negative sales issues they raise are SOP for EVERY company I've worked for and I'd say it goes double for ORCL's competitors like MSFT. MSFT is the classic model of using one deal to leverage the next, and selling vapor.
Today's journalism continues to hit new lows with the negativity. Journalism is so completely out of control (irony, due to the article's title), they are looking for stories everywhere.

I'm not saying what was written is untrue nor do I condone the behavior. But this makes it seem like ORCL was the only company doing this stuff, which it clearly wasn't and isn't.

I like LE's approach to dealing with it, though.
