SPX 800 last time around took dow 7800 and nas 1228. I don't know if we will go that deep early enough in august to embolden put holders enough to ride it out. I think we'll see those lows again but it may not be until after the August expiration on the 16th. I do think there will be many chances to trade wide daily ranges. The problem becomes working past the time premium quickly enough to avoid an up move with an even or negative trade result. SPX calls and Puts are like top fuel investments. The average trader of them consumes at least an 8 ball per day <g>

What did you think about GDP and Chicago PMI data? I am shocked that we finished up on the close of the day with those numbers.
