I used to have a link to Lt Col Holmes account of Clinton as printed in the New York Times. As I recall Holmes was a highly decorated WWII vet survivor of the Battaan death march POW for 3 1/2 years. There was a time when such a piece would have buried a candidacy but a time goes on many people seem to forget the sacrifices made and the respect our veterans deserve.
