Yeah, but Texas, the way poor GW bobs and weaves his head like one of those Hawaiian dashboard dolls that those gun-toting Republicans have in their SUVs and the way he pulls his head into his shoulders turtlelike, I get the feeling he's an abused child. He's been whomped alongside the head so much he has trouble getting more than two syllables from a four syllable word. I'll bet his dad still belts him. "Stop that cryin' now Georgie or I'll keep hitting you until you do." Which is how he developed that giggle, a sublimated cry for help. It's sad but true, and when George Sr gets tired, Laura takes over like the time she pounded him while he was eating that pretzel.
