Some time in the 70’s, I believe, Warren Buffett came to the conclusion that he didn’t understand the action in the markets of that time. He closed shop and returned funds to his investors, promising to call upon them when he will have a plan of action, which he later did.

In the immortal words of the great philosopher Kenny Rogers,
