Well, I'm sure taking my lumps today, but I'm not selling and may buy more...not today, maybe not until after the actual quarter report or even the next interim report.

I think too highly of this company to move out of it. Actually, it's a little refreshing to see a company that didn't do any sugar coating or back pedaling when it very well might have. I consider that a management plus. Might be a weak straw to hang onto, but that's how I feel.

The company is doing something about ID promotion by offering classes to get new users off to a good start. It was in one of their news releases, maybe two-three weeks ago. I'm not a new user, so it's not available to me and I didn't give it close attention.

Still, no way was I expecting a $6.00 haircut.

I'm not involved in web design, but if I'm not mistaken Macromedia isn't profitable, while Adobe is. I also don't know what percentage of Adobe's sales come from web design.

Wrt Quark, I've never bought their products, but from talking with people who do, that company seems not to be particularly customer friendly.

Also, I'm not aware of any price cutting at Adobe, (to beat down Quark...take market share based on price rather than product value) and I've not heard of any layoffs.

Where in Missouri are you? I grew up in the state, went to MU for journalism. I'm in California...and I do miss the streams and lakes.
