Steven re: recognize our limitations true but we are talking about something that US already committed itself to re: many of the problems we face are complex also we very often make them more complex than they really are re: blind and uncritical support for Israel. I do not believe that we are forced into "blind" position. Yet we should not condemn Israel for something that we would do ourselves under similar conditions. Israel not only has the right to defend it's citizens but also an obligation to do so. re: We're going to war to protect ourselves from terrorism. Israel is facing the same enemies. Hatred for west predates Israel as a country. Terrorist hate equally Israel and US and has very little to do with US support of Israel because the same groups hate Russia as well who until recently supported arabs. -Albert
