Where in Missouri are you? After 20 years in Dallas, we moved to Branson almost 15 years ago. Today's blood letting is somewhat of a surprise. Looks to be a bit overdone IMO, and I feel for you. Macromedia is probably the defacto application in Web design, although I'm not into that area. Started out with Pagemaker 1.0, Adobe Illustrator 1.0. Moved to Quark at version 2.0 and continue to upgrade in all applications that impact my business. Advertising graphics. You're right that Quark is pretty damn unfriendly when it comes to customer support, although I had some rough spots with Adobe on occasion. Hands down, I prefer ADBE over Quark. Was fortunate to get a bit of ADBE's IPO--100 share. Held it until the early 90's. Made a little profit there (VBG). This little downturn has my attention.
