Clark; Once again it is a joy to see you back posting here.

The European bank (with a small US wing) has cut Qualcomm to $25.

Why?

Details seem scanty.

But then, there is a long tradition of Europeans trashing any US company. And the fear factor is now rising. Not just Qualcomm but Microsoft.

In sandskrit, there is a phrase Shanti, Shanti, Shanti - this too shall pass.

The hit by the Swiss bank will also pass.

What is so sad is that there is no substance to the idea that Qualcomm will be flat in 2003. The reverse is much more likely.

If there were a world in which there were consequences for phoney predictions designed to tank the stock - this is one.

Best.
