(Nasdaq:OSIS): -- Fourth quarter revenue expected to exceed $35 million versus analysts' estimate of $33 million and compared to $28.8 million for the fiscal fourth quarter of last year -- Company expects it will report diluted earnings per share of between $0.21 and $0.22 versus analyst expectations of $0.18 per share OSI Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:OSIS) today announced that it expects diluted earnings per share for its fourth quarter of fiscal 2002, which ended June 30, 2002, to be between $0.21 and $0.22 per share, which is above the analysts' estimate of $0.18 per share. The earnings compare favorably to the prior year fourth quarter diluted earnings per share of $0.04 excluding a one-time gain. Including the one-time pre-tax gain of $1.1 million on the sale of an investment, the Company's fourth quarter fiscal 2001 diluted earnings per share was $0.13. Revenues for the fourth quarter fiscal 2002 exceeded $35 million versus analyst expectations of $33 million, and as compared to $28.8 million for the prior year quarter ended June 30, 2001.
