qvr - My last word is the first word that I gave you, in a PM from a couple of weeks ago. Here's my side of the exchange:

hi qvr,

vz is getting punished for its heavy debt load. it's capex will be shrinking for the foreseeable future (read years) and only expenditures with a good payoff will proceed. with the economy heading where it is (re: credit bubble led by telecom but now affecting consumer mentality), 3g looks like a bad bet (at least in NA).
sprint will follow wcom in c.11, probably within 1 year. they will not be able to compete with wcom as it emerges from BK protection, essentially debt free.

I believe late fall could present a good long term exit point on qcom stock; also I see the risk of a fair-sized drop in the near future.

this is jmho, so please don't make any important decisions based on this... -ng

best of luck! rob

Maybe you should reassess who's misleading who on this thread?
