Spoke with Paul a few weeks back and he said there were Expecting results early Aug but he also stated De-beers is always late!
Will there be any stones close to the 20 Carat in the Sample?

Mr. George Read of Canabrava Diamond reports
KIMBERLITE INTERSECTED, HADLEY BAY PROJECT, VICTORIA ISLAND
Canabrava Diamond and Diamonds North Resources have learned that the first hole of the drill program on the Hadley Bay project has intersected kimberlite. This kimberlite is named the Apollo kimberlite.
Kimberlite was encountered below three metres of overburden. A total of 32 metres of competent kimberlite breccia has been intersected in this first vertical hole. Additional holes will be drilled to ascertain the size of this kimberlite pipe. This first drill hole was sited on an intense magnetic low, which forms part of a cluster of magnetic anomalies along a strike length of approximately 1.5 kilometres. Delineation drilling of the Apollo kimberlite is under way, and the drilling of additional magnetic anomalies will follow.
Canabrava has the option to earn a 50-per-cent interest in Diamonds North's Hadley Bay diamond project by spending $5-million and issuing 250,000 shares to Diamonds North over a four-year period. The 2002 program consists of a $700,000 exploration budget and issuance of 50,000 shares of Canabrava to Diamonds North, which is the project operator.

JML to commence drilling at Marten River Aug. 19

JML Resources Ltd JJJ
Shares issued 10,303,936 Aug 1 close $0.21
Wed 7 Aug 2002 News Release
Mr. Ken Lapierre reports
JML DRILL PROGRAM TARGETS DIAMONDS AT MARTEN RIVER
Drilling at the Marten River diamond project is scheduled to begin Aug. 19,
2002. JML Resources also outlined exploration plans for the period August,
2002, through the winter of 2003. The Marten River property covers over
39,000 hectares located in a 3,600-square-kilometre area located
approximately 55 kilometres north of North Bay and approximately 80
kilometres south of known diamondiferous kimberlite pipes located near New
Liskeard, Ont.
The drill program will target diamondiferous kimberlite and will initially
test a minimum of six target anomalies. Detailed exploration on the project
to date covers roughly 15 per cent of the overall project area only and has
generated 155 targets located in five target areas.
Concurrent with the drill program, detailed fieldwork will continue
throughout the summer in order to evaluate the known geophysical anomalies,
and complete additional till sampling and prospecting. JML Resources plans
to follow up the fieldwork with additional drill programs during the fall
of 2002 and winter of 2003.
"We are excited about the company's first drill program at Marten River,"
said JML Resources president Ken Lapierre. "The drill program follows over
two years of diamond exploration in the project area. The results indicate
the project will host kimberlites and that these kimberlites will be
diamondiferous."

Pure Gold Minerals Inc.: Second Kimberlitic Intrusive
Discovered-Tichegami Property Otish Mountains Quebec

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Don Sheldon, President of Pure Gold
Minerals Inc. ("Pure Gold") is pleased to announce the discovery
of a second kimberlitic intrusive breccia on the Tichegami River
Property, Otish Mountains Quebec. The discovery drill hole was
located on a well-defined airborne and ground magnetic anomaly
(H-2) approximately 350 meters southeast of the H-1 kimberlitic
pipe discovered during the 2002 winter drilling program.

The discovery hole was drilled at an azimuth of 045 degrees and a
dip of -70 degrees. The kimberlitic intrusive was intersected
under overburden at a depth of 15 meters and the hole was drilled
to a total depth of 138 meters, all in the kimberlitic intrusive.
A second hole was drilled in the opposite direction at an azimuth
of 210 degrees and a dip of 45 degrees. This hole entered the
country rock at a depth of 18 meters and confirmed the edge of the
intrusive. The magnetic surveys indicates that the kimberlitic
intrusive is a dyke like body and that the discovery hole was
located at the north end. At this location the intrusive is at
least 65 meters wide and remains open. Three distinct phases of
kimberlite, possibly of different ages have been identified in the
field. Both the matrix and fragments of this kimberlitic
intrusive breccia are visually very distinct from the H-1
kimberlite intrusive. Also of importance to the potential of this
new discovery is the identification of purple pyrope, chrome
diopside and ilmenite in the core.

The core from the discovery hole will be logged and sampled in the
field. Selected samples will then be sent for evaluation
initially for diamonds and kimberlite indicator minerals. Pure
Gold is currently continuing the planned summer work program on
the Beaver Lake Project, which in addition to the diamond drilling
includes the evaluation of geophysical anomalies identified by
company consultants from the airborne surveys. Pure Gold has an
option to earn a 60% interest in the Tichegami property from Ditem
Explorations Inc. (TSX.DIT) of Montreal.

Gordon Keevil, Professional Geologist and Director of Pure Gold,
is responsible for the design and conduct of the exploration
programs, and the verification and quality assurance of analytical
results.
