I don't think you can tag this one on the investment community but our legal lack of respect for as is law. The accounting scandal really amounts to a highly exaggerated interpretation of principle or law. The results have been we have such a complicated system the cost of the system is severely reducing the profits ability of companies who are capable of moving the economy forward. What we do know is legal costs do move forward so much so they have finally figured out how to leave the economy well behind.

At the same time you had a bunch of block heads who assumed the US was the only nation capable of producing tech genius.
