actually i believe most people think the way you do...

what is ridiculous is to hear the pundits talking about all the wealth "created" by ever increasing real estate prices..

i can't tell you the number of times i've heard from people..."yeah it's great, but i can't afford to sell my home..."

obviously because the "replacement" has also increased.

doesn't help the guy who paid $250K for his house can sell it for $500K and now needs to pay $750K or more to "move up"...i think we are getting "close" to the top as it appears only through some very aggressive financing can first time buyers afford a home.

(obviously real estate is "local"...some areas are much more bubblicious than others <vbg>)
