I think that there will be a few high profile scapegoats who get taken behind the shed and slaughtered and then it will all just kind of disappear. I think it is a damaging piece of law and not a meaningless symbol. Part of business is taking risk and if executives have to fear criminal prosecution for normal business decisions, it can really stiffle business. This is having the effect of putting more and more power in the government's hands. Further, the power and greedy hungry mucky mucks will go where the power and money and limited risk is. That means that the crims will be heading for the gov't.
