I've actually got a JD, and have done some federal clerkship work on piercing the corporate veil. Unless ludicrously blatant, it is a nightmare to plead. I would be shocked to hear that any of these corporate Heads get held personally libel.

Ignorance surely isn't a crime yet!

I really do believe thata lot of them will claim ignorance. Sure they'll probably have to resign because who wants a ECO who doesn't know what his crew is doing.
But it beats the hell out of admitting he took part in cooking the books.
