I was one of the suckers on this one. I guess a clue on this one was that they weren't making money when the build-up of telecom was in full-force. You could understand that for a telecom company, but not for an engineering company contracting with telecom companies.

My general rule is not to invest in any association of professionals: doctors, engineers, etc. Those that do the work charge a lot, or can walk, and those that manage often don't have the business background.

I suspect those at top were astute enough, though, to enrich themselves before the thing crashed.
