Your sins and the sins of your father and your father's father should rightly, by your way of thinking, be put on the heads of your children. Just as you say, "you jews" I equally can say "you crawfords." I once saw a picture of a child being led to a hole in the ground where a nazi soldier, cigarette in his mouth and machine gun in hand, no doubt, like you, he was saying "you jews." Please, your profile says "all men are created equal," not so by your words and thoughts.

and most americans of irish descent have no emotional attachment to ireland to speak of. they have successfully assimilated into american society. most irish people in america think of themselves as strictly americans.

Obviously, you don't live in New England. I'm Irish-American, seventh generation born in the US, but very proud to be of Irish descent. The trials and tribulations of my working class Irish roots and the prejudice my ancestors suffered is part of my poetry.

A word to the wise: don't speak for any large group.
