"This is beyond egg on your face," said Richard Scher, a political science professor at the University of Florida. "This is just plain dumb."

Here we go, again. The liberals making personal attacks against Ms. Harris. Dumb, and wears too much makeup.

How about a criticism on real issues? No, you can't do it, because the liberals have NO ISSUES. NONE. NOT ONE.

Getting things done is solely within the domain of the conservatives. Liberals just make ad hominem personal attacks and then collapse when in office.

We'll see how "dumb" she is.

Broadly incompetent I would agree with, "the most corrupted state", I would have to take issue. But having grown up in the Chicago area, I may have a different perspective on corruption <g>.

John, I took that position only because Chicago is not a state. <g>

Seriously, I kind of see corruption and incompetency going hand and hand........both depend on someone not watching the ship.

But what's really frightening is Harris. You all need to keep her out of Congress. This country is in bad enough shape as it is without her damaging another legislative body. Even if she spends most of her time shopping for clothes in Paris, I believe there are attendance requirements for Congress and her vote could be a serious problem. Think of keeping her out as another front to the war on terrorism. <g>

John, I went back and read the last third of the article after skimming it previously. I can only hope Ms. Harris loses the election and the Rep. party finds room for her in their administrative offices. After all, it would be a waste to allow a fine mind like hers to go to waste.

Actually, we have a Rep. up here who believes campaign initiative money is to be used to pay his personal bills. May be the two of them can hook up and work with dubya, and help formulate the Rep. party's future plans. I can't wait to see the results.
