Calling Gore's chaperoned tour of the back lines a military record is a slap in the face of any who had the courage to serve during Vietnam. Shame on his Senator daddy for setting it up.

Shame on you for falling for a cheap political ploy.

gerard, Gore's venture into Nam was a political farce. He never got close to any battle zone, and was protected by an entire squad of armed troops to make sure he did not even stub his toe. I am the wrong one to accuse of slapping any brave person of the military of the United States, but I am surely verbally slapping the face of a lying piece of shit like Gore. He didn't "serve". He went on a guided tour just like it was Disney Land, and had posed photos taken for political purposes. You must be extremely stupid to think he did anything else. Why don't you look up one of the soldiers that was assigned to guard his worthless ass, and hear what he has to say.
