Actually, I hear Carpino has down until the 14th. I don't know what that means, since he's not calling for macro lows until the fall.

I know people hate it, but I'm on the lookout here for Max Pain on the QQQ. It's at 24, which is about $2 above where we're at.

My preferred scenario would have a double bottom on the COMP at 1192 and a lower low on the NDX at 850, a rise into options expiration for a lower high than this week, and then a slow bleed after expiration into September and October, with chopping all the way down to COMP 1000.

That would mean I'm looking for another leg up here from the lows, maybe a brother to the one from NDX 877-992. I don't know if that fits Elliot, but it seems to fit options expiration this month.
