In the near-term, i.e., the next 1-3 weeks, I think BTK can bounce up and down in that channel, which I guess would be net up. If it runs up to the 450 level or higher, it will negate the effect of the current bear flag, insofar as breaking the current low goes. Longer term -- maybe out six months or so -- I'll be shocked if we don't see 250.

Very long term, i.e., six months to a year or three, I won't be at all surprised to see 200 or below -- for FA reasons as much as anything. There are large parts of the bio industry which have no products, no profits, and not prospects. Many of these will go the way of the do-do bird, IMHO, starting within a year from now and probably sooner. That shaking out process will not be in the BTK stocks, but I think the entire industry will be tainted for a while.

Regarding Smelly, I agree completely. Once that piggy closes below three-hundred, (which is starting to look like today), the next big support is what, about two-hundred?

Gee, I don't see what's so bad about KLAC's monthly though. Heck, it looks to have support at around 25, which is only about a 35% haircut from here... <VBG>
