Rolf Ekéus, former head of UNSCOM, told Swedish media this past weekend that he was pressured all the time by USA to gather information beyond the U.N mandate -e.g. Saddams whereabouts. He also mentioned that he realized after he left his job that CIA had been able to infiltrate UNSCOM and place two agents in the team - made him very upset.
This link to Radio Sweden gives an interview with Ekéus because of his statements in other media and he downplays it a bit - go to min 14.40.
