The Fed always is: But the Fed has not prevented carnage in techland so far, and might slow a meltdown without being able to do much to reverse it. I think we are approaching the fear factor. Up until now there has been frustration, pain, concern and some anger. But we have not seen outright fear.

Lean on small caps that aren't at lows.
San Diego based Amylin pharmaceuticals (AMLN) might have more room to grow due to the rise in diabetics.
