NYCB, I disagree about CBs wanting higher POG -their talk and actions suggest otherwise- look at gold leasing, BOE sales and CBs all over the world bad mouthing gold. S&P just happens to remove ABX & PDG from the S&P 500 and all the index funds have to sell - what a coincidence! Lower rates will not help IMO. Too much capacity, too much debt . It will take time and tough love to work out these problems. The bigger the boom the bigger the bust. things will get worse before it gets better. mike

NYCB, I don't dismiss Prechters scenario where cash is king and even golds tank so I will be watching. I have his latest book and will read soon. mike
