maybe a contrarian signal. kinda like that dope who bought all those SMH calls.

PG due to report monday. could see a pop there which could help rally the dow. shorts (including me), were getting squeezed all week, and the bulls are all lathered up on that one. no fear. must be the start of another bull mkt.

looks like that put buyer(s) was told to defend dow 8000 at all costs and the puts were simply a hedge.

of course who would be crazy enough to sell that many puts. maybe AG & co. is directly selling puts nowadays. literally the greenspan put.

i doubt someone was making a huge bearish bet the way the media was portraying it.

BWDIK. i'm just a conspiracy nut. but this smells.
